Abstract Although a wide body of scholarly research recognizes multiple kinds values for water, water security assessments typically employ just some them. In the present article, we integrate value scenarios into planetary model to incorporate water-related social and illustrate trade-offs among Specifically, cultural environmental flows needed sustain ecosystem function (rights waters), requirements human right food water), economic commercial enterprise (commercial rights). Pairing quantitative hydrological modeling with qualitative systems valuing, suggest how depict available realizing various combinations underlying those rights. We account population growth dietary choices associated different socioeconomic pathways. This pluralist approach incorporates framework, better recognize work diversity in valuation water.
